Skills Summit
At BWEA31, BWEA brought together senior representatives from business, government, academia and other stakeholders to develop a training and skills route-map through the drafting of a Sector Skills Accord.
Stakeholder Surgery
A Stakeholder Surgery was held to facilitate engagement between BWEA members and key statutory consultees and stakeholders, including senior representatives from NATS En Route, Ministry of Defence, Natural England, the Countryside Council for Wales and Joint Nature Conservation Committee.
Exhibitors' Reception
A networking reception was held within the exhibition hall on Day One, open to all delegates and exhibitors.
Conference Reception
A conference reception sponsored by The Crown Estate was held on the evening of Day One at the Tate Liverpool art gallery.
Gala Dinner
Due to overwhelming demand, the Gala Dinner sold out.
The social highlight of the BWEA events programme. The black tie dinner, sponsored by ScottishPower Renewables, will be held at a larger venue, the Liverpool Cathedral.
Annual Sailing Regatta
The 8th annual sailing regatta, sponsored and organised by RWE npower renewables, was a great success. This year 39 companies from the wind and marine industry were involved, with 58 boats taking part in the racing.
